Website Disclaimer

Welcome, and thank you for visiting my website. I hope the information you find here is helpful and supportive. This Website Disclaimer outlines that the information on this site is for general purposes only and does not constitute professional advice.

1. Informational Use Only

This website is for informational and educational purposes only. It is not a substitute for therapy, professional advice, diagnosis, or treatment. The content I share, such as blog posts, resources, and general guidance, is meant to offer support and insight, but it is not personalized mental health care.

2. No Therapist-Client Relationship

Visiting this website, reading content, or sending a message through the contact form does not establish a therapeutic relationship between you and me. A formal relationship only begins after we’ve both agreed to work together and completed the appropriate intake and consent process.

3. Not for Emergencies

This site is not monitored for emergencies. If you are in crisis or need immediate support, please call 911, go to your nearest emergency room, or contact a 24/7 crisis line such as:

  • 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline: Call or text 988
  • Crisis Text Line: Text HOME to 741741

4. Social Media Policy

To protect your privacy and maintain clear professional boundaries, I don’t interact with clients on social media. I know it can be tempting to engage or follow along, but please keep in mind:

  • Friend Requests & Connections: I don’t accept friend or connection requests from current or former clients on any platform. If we are already connected, I may quietly end that connection to maintain professional boundaries.

  • Groups & Email Lists: If we both happen to be in the same social media group or on a shared list, I may limit my engagement to protect the integrity of our therapeutic relationship.

  • Public Pages & Comments: I recommend not following or commenting on my professional pages. If you do comment, I won’t respond, and I may remove the comment to safeguard your privacy.

  • Direct Messaging: I don’t communicate with clients through social media DMs. Any communication related to therapy should happen through secure, professional channels like the client portal or email.

I use social media to share general wellness information, not to provide therapy or respond to individual concerns.

5. Respecting Boundaries

Please don’t use the contact form or blog comments (if enabled in the future) to seek therapy advice or share confidential information. Those tools are not secure enough for clinical purposes. If you’re interested in starting therapy with me, feel free to schedule a consultation call or use the contact form to request more information about my services.

6. Use of AI Tools

From time to time, I use AI-assisted tools to help brainstorm ideas, organize concepts, or draft content. However, everything you read here reflects my original thinking and has been thoughtfully reviewed, edited, and shaped by me. I use these tools to support my creative process, not replace it. My goal is always to share content that’s accurate, useful, and reflects my voice and professional standards.

7. Changes to this Disclaimer

I may update or revise the content on this page from time to time to reflect changes in my practice, policies, or the tools I use. I reserve the right to make updates without prior notice. Changes posted on this page will be reflected with an updated effective date. Continued use of this site after updates means you accept the revised terms, so I encourage you to revisit this page periodically.
